Shows and Galleries
Shows
Normally, I would be doing several art shows all through the Midwest (and ideally beyond!) - but fucking Covid has cancelled pretty much all of them. Last year, I got a job due to this. While it's a job that I thoroughly enjoy - its does not leave me much time for making things. I have this job until the end of 2021; so if shows even happen this year, I do not plan on doing many. ...wear your goddamn mask so this shit is over with by 2022.
What DO I plan to do? Make whatever the hell I want. It's kind of freeing. There are a few shows that I may still do in 2021, if they actually happen. Personally, I think that it is too soon, but I also know that many artists are suffering from the lack of shows. I also have zero stock, and my show display is holding work at two galleries right now (see below). So the decision to cut back on any shows that may happen was a bit stressful, but also the right one to avoid year-long stress.
So what does that mean in terms of where to find my work? I am aiming to sporadically update the store on my website, and can always be contacted to see what I may have in stock. I also enjoy commissions - though they will generally take about a month to complete! (Check out more about those below.) Annnnnnnd - I currently have work in a few galleries/shops! Read below for more on that.

Galleries
Towards the end of 2020, I had the pleasure to be included in two different seasonal pop-up shops! And they did well enough that they have both become permanent! That was a good way to start 2021.
I have baby heads and black and white at both locations, and would recommend both for a great selection of local art!

![]() Formed Gallery
Located in Downtown Springfield MO, they have a wide selection of craft and fine art in a nice open space. They are open for First Friday Artwalk, and generally have something going on. And bonus! They are just two doors down from Gailey's Breakfast Cafe. Check 'em out by clicking on the header, or follow them on Facebook - @formedgallery or on Instagram - @formedgallery |
![]() The Local Bevy
Smack dab in the middle of the lively Rountree area, APD Designs has put together a great collective of gifts and art from local artists. Everything in there is at least a little bit quirky - completely befitting the neighborhood. This shop and area is a great place to plan on spending a good chunk of a day, located right by Skullys and Tie and Timber (some of my favs) and more! Check 'em out on Facebook - @thelocalbevy or on Instagram - @thelocalbevy |
Spiva Center for the Arts
I also have work in the Spiva gift shop, located in Joplin Mo! This is a great arts center; serving many needs in the community including classes, outreach, and gallery space! If you are in the area, I strongly recommend checking them out. Click the header for their webpage, or follow them on Facebook - @spivaarts or on Instagram - @spivacenterforthearts

Commissions
I generally enjoy commissions! As long as you don't want something completely out of my 'zone', shoot me an email or message and let me know what you are thinking.
Here are some of the general guidelines for commissions -

- If it is something custom that I cannot sell otherwise (like initials) - I will generally require a 50% deposit.
- It may take me a month of more to complete your piece. The more time you can give me, the better!
- I can't draw mammals. I'm realllllllllly bad at it. No clue why - I have practiced a lot. Skeletons of mammals, I can do, though!
